1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TutorsDial ("Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These terms apply to all users including teachers, students, and visitors.

2. Description of Service

TutorsDial is an online marketplace that connects students (or their parents/guardians) with tutors and teachers. The Platform allows students to post learning requirements and teachers to create profiles and apply to those requirements. TutorsDial does not directly provide tutoring or educational services.

3. User Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to register as a teacher. Students under 18 must have parental consent.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate and truthful information during registration and profile creation.
• Roles (teacher or student) are set at registration and cannot be changed.
• TutorsDial reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Teacher Responsibilities

• Teachers must provide accurate information regarding their qualifications, experience, and credentials.
• Teachers are solely responsible for the quality and content of their tutoring services.
• Any misrepresentation of qualifications may result in immediate account termination.
• Teachers agree that subscription fees are non-refundable once the billing period has started (subject to Refund Policy).
• Application limits per month are governed by the teacher's active subscription plan.

5. Student Responsibilities

• Students must post requirements in good faith and respond to teacher applications promptly.
• Contact details are shared only after a student explicitly accepts a teacher's application.
• Students must not misuse teacher contact information obtained through the Platform.
• Posting fees paid for requirements are subject to the Refund Policy.

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users.
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Platform without permission.
• Circumvent the contact-gating system to obtain user information.
• Create multiple accounts to bypass subscription or application limits.

7. Payments & Subscriptions

Teacher subscription fees and student requirement posting fees are processed via Razorpay, a third-party payment gateway. By making a payment, you agree to Razorpay's terms and privacy policy. TutorsDial does not store payment card information. All fees are in Indian Rupees (INR) and inclusive of applicable taxes.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including text, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of TutorsDial or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Users retain ownership of content they post (profiles, requirements) but grant TutorsDial a non-exclusive license to display it on the Platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

TutorsDial is a marketplace platform and is not liable for the quality, accuracy, or outcome of any tutoring arrangements made through the Platform. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TutorsDial's total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by the user in the three months preceding the claim.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

11. Changes to Terms

TutorsDial reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
